Got it at the price as DV + a free set on monitors (even if I sell them for £100), that brings my price down.

Sweet.
DV are £100 cheaper than Bonners on the K88 but they are not including any free monitors!

Realistically, they're all going to charge the same price when it actually comes out. I'd suggest just getting yourself on the list somewhere (but only if they'll make your deposit fully refundable), and then asking them what deals they can do you.

I was already on the list at A&C Hamilton when Bonners started doing their deal. I emailed them and said 'Bonners are offering free monitors - what can you do for me?'. They came back to me with what in my opinion is a much better deal. I'd much rather have £200 of gear that I actually want than £250 worth of speakers that I would be eBaying immediately for about £100. If I wanted £100 off, I'd just go for the A&C Hamilton £100 off option and save myself the hassle of reselling the monitors.

Wherever you choose, tell them about the other deals you've heard about and see what they can do for you. They want your business.

Incidentally, I see that Bonners aren't advertising the monitors on the website any more, and A&C Hamilton's deal isn't on their website either - they're both available until 20th June though.

I was being somewhat flippant with the £100 remark. They sell for £250 new.

£200-odd on Ebay: £200 cash to me is better (personally) than having the money on kit.

But that's the beauty of all these offers Cool

Absolutely - it's good to have different options to suit different people.

I'm not convinced that you'll get £200 for the Behringers though (especially once all the Bonners customers list them) - there's a big difference between being available for £200 and selling for £200! Good luck with it, but I think that's very optimistic.

Yeh, won't be putting them on Ebay - already got several buyers lined up in September. £200 no probs!

Panrixx - I live just round the corner from you. What do I have to do to get an invitation to come and hear your Kronos when it arrives?

I've just ordered a K73 from Digital Village. Got a good deal that possibly still beats Bonners' price even if you were to sell the freebie Behringer Truth monitors to offset the overall cost. I can't mention the actual price publicly as it's a "deal price" offered to me directly. Current expected ETA for the 73 was stated as middle of July.

Now I need to search for a good exact-sized flightcase with castors on one end.

Congratulations - I will be phoning DV this weekend - hoping to get a good deal on a K61.

Just had an email from DV about Kronos 61:

£2450 + free carriage. Guaranteed allocation in the first batch.

Just re-read my email from Tony - I'm 99% certain I'll be staying with this Smile

Is that Tony White from Bonners or another Tony from DV?
