I am happy to proclaim that the Kronos has arrived in stores in Japan. I just got off the phone with wifey. A local dealer (he really likes my wife) has bumped the #1 guy on the waiting list to give it to my wife and much cheaper than what I thought. Advertised price in Japan for 61 keys is 258,000 yen ($3265 US)...but I am getting it for 220,000 ($2784 US)!
I was about to go see Pirates 4 but that will have to wait. Getting Kronos within the next 5 hours.... _________________ Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000.

Thanks. Knowing me...I will be spending as much time playing with it as I do on the internet talking about it. _________________ Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000. |

That is fine, as long as you are talking to US about it
Twitter is suddenly buzzing about the Kronos being available in Japan.
Can't be long now for the rest of us! |

It depends. The Japanese love blondes. They fetch a pretty penny or should I say yenny. Lol _________________ Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000. |

European [French/Netherlands] blonde, tall, athletic in a girlish way, green eyes, good humored,
loves - no, make that "good-naturely tolerates" synthesizers.
For Kronos 73, shipping included.
Throw a gun in the deal (in case she reads this ). |

this level of competence merits at least the 88 version with the personal signature of whoever runs Korg at the moment.. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/user/sewa01/videos |

That's good news for you!
Please let us know your first impressions.
I'm wondering what the price will be in France. It'll probably be over €2280 (*)
(*) 220,000 / 1.05 (5% Japanese CT) / 115.9135 (JPY/EUR) * 1.19 (19.6% French VAT) + €120 for shipping |

Well, enough of racy jokes.
Jahrome: congratulations.
Please DON'T post your FIRST impressions.
What I eagerly wair to hear from you is:
What happens after you've spent the first whole night with the Kronos, then the first whole week-end.
You know: past the "wow, listen at this!" moment, when you really start PLAYING the thing.
You'd be the FIRST forumer to experience that. Precious.
Enjoy. |
