I'll be using computers more soon since I'm finally getting my circuit bent stuff and monotron MIDI enabled to receive commands from Ableton. I don't have anything which is really any good for drums, so I'm planning on relying on drum softsynths for that end of things.

So whats good on OSX? I want something pretty straightforward, but also easily tweakable. If I want to do anything complicated I figure I can just chop up samples. I've got the demo for Drumazon, which is pretty cool, but I reckon the drum sequencing is pretty tedious, I'd rather have some kind of drum sequencing grid layout like the DS-10 does, and also the ability to save and switch between premade loops easily. I'd prefer not to have to pay much/anything for it either. In terms of sound I'm learning towards aggressive-ish techno kinds of kits, but I also want the scope to make some original sounds too.

I might sound like a bit of a noob here but....I am!
