|
|
Will recording software identify the signal or do I have to use the normal midiport? Yes, I have the usb midi drive installed (I just don't have any recording software, yet).
Thanks in advance! |

Yes.
That is the main purpose of the USB port. It doesn't do anything else except for allowing software OS updates. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

Hmm... Not sure I understand your reply.
Yes, my recording software will recognize the USB signal as a normal midisignal?
or
Yes, I have to use the normal midiport? |

'recording software' will only recognise a signal from the xlr or trs outputs, unless your recording software also has midi capabilities. If it does, it will recognise the usb signal as a normal midisignal. |
