Hi all.
I recorded this a while back to demonstrate a single COMBI sound and the power of the HD-1 Engine on the OASYS to people on another forum, and I thought I'd repost it here to give you some sort of idea of the power you can expect to find inside the Kronos.
Remember, this is OASYS your hearing, but the KRONOS has this exact same sound quality and ability to do all of this. The OASYS sound will load into the Kronos too.
Listen closely and you will hear everything from filter sweeps, wavesequencing, multi layers to KARMA. Again, remember this is only a single combi sound played live.

Nice one sharp, it sounds amazing, really like the lush pad and the acid-lead(from Hd-1 aswell?) in the background, i guess its karmafied while you play the pad?
Is this a preset or your own creation?

Thanks.
Yes, all HD-1. It's a slight modification of a factory preset. I'm not pressing the Pads to control KARMA, everything is played on the keys and I just use the scenes buttons to control what I want.
Regards

Like this sound alot...can't wait to get my Kronos.
Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what to expect with the Kronos. Always wanted the mighty Oasys, but know we have in my price range the K! _________________ Korg Kronos 61, Korg M3 61, Roland MV-8800, Roland XV-5080, Logic Pro9, Pro Tools 10, Omnisphere, Trillian, Stylus RMX... |

Inspired by your great idea I've uploaded to SoundCloud some of my short demos created in 2008 (the "good old OASYS days" ).
It wasn't a serious project - I was just playing. Interesting, once I also used the same Combi!
