Can't get nano kontrol to work in Ableton Live?
Well actually, I can get midi to map to the keys manually, but Nano doesn’t show up in the list for control surfaces in prefs?

The list of 'control surfaces' in Live is just a list of control surfaces that were out at the time of that version of Live's release, that they made specific preset control maps for. Mapping it manually is fine, and obviously Live is picking it up, it is just that they didn't consider the nano when they released that version of live - probably because the nano isn't out yet. _________________ Current Gear: Kronos 61, RADIAS-R, Volca Bass, ESX-1, microKorg, MS2000B, R3, Kaossilator Pro +, MiniKP, AX3000B, nanoKontrol, nanoPad MK II,

Thanks for the response. I have a Novation Sl on my tower at home and thought the nano would just be picked up by Live and work out of the box. It’s sort of a pain to have to map things like transport controls for every live set I create! |
