I used to have, a long time ago, sonar 3 PE and sound forge 6.0. whenever I wanted to edit or master tracks (or even add effects) within sonar, I right-clicked the track and it allowed me to edit them WITHIN SOUND FORGE 6, which is to say that I had SF as a plug in in sonar.

now I own sonar 8 PE and SF 9, and I can't do it!! how can I add SF as a plug in within sonar so I can use ITS effects and tools to edit tracks in the sonar environment???

I searched in the plug-in manager in sonar, but I can't find the answer!!

HELPPPPPPPP!!!!

Its not running as a 'plug-in' as such. I also don't have Sonar or Sound Forge, however i've seen the option in other DAWs where you select your preferred audio editing program.

Should be in options or preferences.
