I'm having a problem with distortion on the drawbar mode. When moving the sliders up and down. I get a wierd fuzz tone sound, but it's not thru the entire range only certain areas on the keys. I can sometimes stop it but turning off the Part and then reselcting it. I have solved it by reloading the operating system 3.01 from the floppys, but sooner or later it seems to come back. If any one has run into this? Thanks

Hi Jose Thats been a couple of years since that happened, I reinstalled the 3.01 operating software and it seemed to clear up. I don't play it to often. It was when I 1st purchased it and I think it was something i think I was doing because I was not familiar with korg, I had been using Roland be fore that. It took me a while to fully understand how to save Drawbar settings. Since then I do occastionaly use it but I started using Garage Band on my ipad, it's got an incredable B3. I midi it thru and Irig midi. Several times I had to reinstall te operating system because i wouldget it screwedd up not knowing what i as doing. If you do try to reinstall it make a back up on the internal hard drive. If you don't know how just put on a new post subject backing up the current settigs and user chages if you have made any. There plenty of guys on this forum that are very knowlegable. If I think of anything else I'll post here to this section.
Godd Luck This keyboard even though it's an older model is still pretty increadiable. Bob S

Thanks for the answer.
I'll try to reload the O.S.
It's strange because all other functions works fine. Just drawbars going crazy! Lots of noise...
Best regards

Found the problem!
Former owner installed RAM SIMM on Wrong slot... Shocked
Put the SIMM on first slot and drawbars works correctly.
Don't even needed to install O.S.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards
