I posted this already in the microKOntrol forum as a reply to a similar problem, but maybe it suits here better: audio-midi editor and Ableton Live don't detect the microKOntrol ports any longer as "microKontrol" but as "USB device" - which means that any routings in Ableton Live have to be changed from "microKOntrol" to "USB device".
Can anyone confirm this?

We are having the same problem except we are having it with our nanoKontrol. The nano is showing up in Audio Midi Setup as "USB Midi Device" and we also see an icon "nanoKONTROL". They intermittently illuminate independent of each other.
Also, the majority of the time our nanoKontrol is not even illuminating on the unit itself! If we check the connection it will briefly illuminate and then go back to black. Sometimes it will stay illuminated however. Very inconsistent behavior.
Thanks for any help |
