Two new things from Akai caught my eye :

Ableton Live controller : http://www.akaipro.com/apc40
MPC 5000 OS 2.0 : http://www.akaipro.com/spotmpcos2

The MPC 5000 OS 2.0 gives it the multi-sampling/keymapping capabilities of the olde Akai samplers and the MPC 4000 !

Novation Automap 3!
Quite a great thing for heavy Novation controllers users!
Not listed on official website, but on Harmony-Central!

Yamaha has some new pianos, new Motif, Roland has a lot of new stuff... But I gotta tell you, this show is kind of depressing. If you can judge a day by the morning, then the drop in terms of visitors and everything is gonna be hugely noticeable. I didn't even try to waste my time to do a press registration yday and proved myself right - I was in line today for less then 5 minutes.

I know it's recession-time, but I was expecting a lot of companies to realize that this is the time to capture market and grab even more from the pie but... I guess that's not happening. At CES a couple of days ago, and - especially - MacWorld last week, that was even more evident...

What I'm waiting for is Stephen's stuff. I'm pretty sure he's gonna make our lives veeery interesting since he's been quiet for so long now...
