Maybe it's just me and I'm used to listen to an OASYS now, but it all just reminded me too much of when I was a lot lot younger.

No question about it, it was a great keyboard in it's day, but I don't think it sounds fresh any more.

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

There were some really killer sounds in my N-364, I especially remember an organ patch I really liked, but I'm with Sharp on this, although.......givin the chance, I might buy the old girl back.
Very Happy

I 've got an X3R and some of the organs on there are priceless, along with some of the processed guitar patches. Each to their own on the overall sound from board to board. The newer gear definately has it's refinements but, there has yet to be a new monster that kills all the old gear in every voice category. Cool Cool

gotta love them all !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the N5EX, same engine and sound of the N3-64 I think.
I miss many of the sounds of that synth... Wink

klarnet basowy

You're not the only one matey. The piano's, strings, E guitar's, organ's, synth's ,pad's, etc, etc was not realistic, but nice and useable. That was the strength of the instruments, it wasn't fooling any anyone, but you didnt care, it just sounded really nice. I've brought sample libraries with 300 meg strings and although they sounded more realistc, they were'nt as nice.
N364 is a legend. Cool

As someone said the sounds weren't real but they have some warmth and vintage feel, my first synth x5d, little monster. I made some sounds that rised envy from my colegue who had a Triton that time.

Along with my N364 I still have my X2 and my DW8000

It's like having several generations of a family and the family resemblance is very clear.
