Greetings

I will have broadband in a few weeks <pinching myself> and I wish to bring my macs online.

Is anyone around here who can help me understand to develop a strategy for wireless?

I have one Mac Book pro and Mac Pro, both with ariport extreme, as well as a Timecapsule with airport extreme.

However, If I am not mistaken, to be able to, say access my Big mac from my laptop throughout the house for both, internet and file sharing and printing, I would need a wireless router is that correct?

When I sat up a 5gig wireless network, everything worked fine until I left the room with my laptop, the signal weakened right away, and two rooms apart was not strong enough anymore. I only had the macpro macbook and timecapsule connected. But trying to access the timecapsule or Macpro from 30 yards away with two walls inbetween did not work anymore.

Would a router such as this:

http://www.netgear.co.uk/wndap330.php

enable me to access my main computer/internet throughout the house?

How would I do that? Router into Mac Pro, ADSL modem into Router, timecapsule into router?

Sorry for such a boring question, I am all new to wireless and broadband.

Thanks!

Timecapsule with airport extreme will it do all for you. Just connect your broadband modem to the timecapsule. You'll have internet for al your computers in the network. You can share an or log in to other computers printers etc...
