Mine worked for the first day I bought it then it started doing the same thing and I have to keep it sync'd to my electribe as a workaround. I just emailed korg support asking what I need to do to get this fixed under warrenty. If I actually get a responce back I will share it here. |

Thanks for the response.
Please do post if you hear back from them about it.
My R3 didn't used to have this problem but its fairly regular now. I wonder if its a software or hardware issue? |

Just got an email back:
"Thank you for your inquiry regarding the R3. You can bring it to any of our Korg USA authorized service centers to have it repaired under your warranty. To find the nearest authorized service center you can consult the following website: http://www.korg.com/service/servicelocator.asp. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate."
My guess is it's a physical problem with the POT. Thankfully there is an authorized repair place near me. Hopefully they can fix it on site and don't have to ship it out for who knows how long. |

My R3 has this bug too.
Too bad, I've bought it two days ago, and I have to bring it back for maintenance already. _________________ Willbe

The bug seems to be related to the knob.
When you select a patch and you don't tweak the tempo-knob, the tempo value keeps stable.
But when you change the tempo value by using the knob, then the tempo has a constant glitch on screen and sound-wize too, it oscillates of -1/+1 bpm, sometimes -2/+2 bpm. It causes a severe sound disturbance to patches that have a setting related to the tempo (LFO, delay). _________________ Willbe
