Give it some comprehensive testing - I found that even with the same model CD-R drive that Korg sell the PA1Xpro had some subtle problems when recording MP3s (without any CD writing) - the problem disappeared as soon as i removed the CD-R - lots and lots of problems have occurred with 3rd party drives and as I have found, not necessarily when you are accessing the drive!!

Hope it works out - will be interesting to hear your findings.

I have installed a dvd drive in my pa1xpro 4 years ago and have no serious problem up to now. The only problem i've realised up to now is: in song play mode some times when i select track 1 or play all ,on cd it starts from track 2.
Best Regards
Bill

So, can we get the exact references of models that do work?

Thanks.

Cant remember exact models, but its important to be ATA connector, so u can find that kind of dvd rw on old laptops, or in ur computer parts store..... but before buying, try to install and check in on keyboard with some dvd disc.....
