Help ,Help . I realise this subject has been mentioned several times
but as a new member i could really use some help.
I reset my trusty old m1 using int,card,combi switch on as i would like to get all the original sounds back. I had thought the reset would be straightforward but i was wrong.!
I followed all the instructions as the korg site laid out
M1 set to midi channel 1, enabled the excl setting and using a yamaha ux16 usb interface loaded the sys-ex files into midi-ox and sent this to the korg. It goes through the loading sequence on the midiox then stops .
Swtching off and then on the m1 still just comes up "init prog"
Have tried everything i can think of,changing settings etc but no joy!
I'm sure it will be something simple but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
