Dumb question... Ive seen it in my friends studios how they have setup isolation pads i just dont know where to here. Im buying some new speakers with 2 Auralex MoPAD isolation pads and if anyone can give me a tip where to set them up thad b good. i guess ill just set them above the speakers until i get the right answer. thnx |

SazquatcheR,
As far as I know, those isolation pads are going to go under the studio monitors, like this for example.
They are supposed to bring out a better low-end response. |

That is correct and maybe more importantly they prevent the surface they are sitting on from carrying sound which can give you false tones. I actually used some rubberized packing foam that works well too.
