|
|
I'm looking to use the microKorg as a tone generator for a MIDI sequencer while using it as a controller at the same time. That's to say I want the microKorg to play tones from MIDI-in, but not play tones when keys are pressed, but rather send the keys to MIDI-out.
Is this possible? Looking through the midi routing sections of the documentation it seems like a no-no, but if anybody could clear it up for me I'd much appreciate it. |

you can turn 'Local Mode' off. this is common on a lot of synths and does exactly what you ask.
i think its in the global or the MIDI settings on the second selector knob |

Sounds like you need to turn Local Control off. Check out the LOCAL setting in the MIDI setup on the microKorg (LOCAL is set using knob #2).
