I have a Korg Karma. I'm not a tech forward at all, I just love the sounds. Alot of people seem to be selling there karma for the M3. BUt I like the Karma maroon monster sounds and I don't want to sell it. I'm trying to figure out a solution so I can use all four of my expansion boards together. I could buy another karma, buy a used triton, or maybe a triton rack. Right? _________________ Elements that's what its all about...Elements that what it is...Do you like Elements? Hi Ray,
I'd be tempted to go with a Triton Rack and load it up. Keep in mind that Korg KARMA-fied (with GEs operational) only two EXBs - 04 Dance Extreme and 05 Vintage Archives. All the rest use Triton arps which are defeated within a red Karma.
Now, you should also be aware that I have developed MOSSTER v 1, a set of 62 combinations & 128 programs "Karmafied" for EXB MOSS. In addition, I have developed TRANZFER, a KARMA-fied collection of 128 combis for EXB 09 Trance Attack. Both these collections take advantage of Karma GEs and real time controls.
If you get the Triton Rack, you'll have the best of both worlds - GEs and Arps. You can always set up combis to drive your Triton, or even better, get Karma Lab's Karma Triton software.
Cheers,

Oh..Thanks ERic , I know you do great things. I'd be into than Trancer karmafied set as I have the Trance attack exb. Yeah that Vintage Synth board And Dance extreme are great too. A rack is good option, but I'm worried I won't be able to understand the midi in and out or thru thing. Every time I tried to use two midi device together, It never works out like I want. At the time of my learning midi is when I unfortunity got injured, So I have incomplete understanding. Is It there a basic simple way to use a Rack Unit with a midi keyboard or controller??
LIke Here are Some Stupid Simple Questions about midi, but given the fact that I'm teaching myself English again (and its not a second lang), These tech stuff a lot of relearning. Now About midi Do I 1. plug the in to the out and out to in, depending on what I want to slave or master Or just Thru when you want the sounds of the module/ Rack but not the sounds of the keyboard?? 2. Do I set separated channels for my out and in or in and out on both units? Or just set the same channel on each unit to recieve and send. 3. The Other stupid simple thing I don't understand when I hook up two units midi, Do the sounds that come out are they suppose to sound like the Slave or the Master? 3 A: Can I hook up two units Say the Triton rack and my Karma, and get the actual sounds of the Rack, and Sound of the Karma together.
See the only thing I had to try midi hook ups with is my RM1x and When I hook it up to the Karma, all the sound sound Like Karma.. And I like to use the different voice together.
I realize there must be some way to get both sounds. The last time I was in a Music store than actually had the midi keyboard/ controller hooked up to other Midi Modules alike E Mu one, ANd The Korg Ms 2000, yep years ago... They Got all those sound to blend together. It must possible.
I'll post the Midi questions else where so I get an answer.. . Understanding midi would open up a new world to me.
Thanks
