Will be doing some recordings this weekend and have just realised that my old and decrepit mixing desk doesn't have a Phantom Power button for my condenser mics, is there a way to remedy this situation or do I have to buy a separate piece of equipment? |

Perhaps it would be better to buy an inexpensive modern mixer with phantom power to replace an "old and decrepit" one, than to buy multiple phantom P/S.
Buying individual P/S are throwing good money after bad. There's plenty of good, inexpensive, new mixers available, and the lack of phantom power probably isn't the only feature lacking in the old one. |
