Yes, it does make sense if you want to mix in the digital domain. I have to think whether I really want to go that path.

There is nothing wrong with digital mixing ofcourse but it just might not be my cup of tea..I'll need to reflect on this.

Anyway, thanks for digging that out from the manual.

If you think about it, you 'should ' send a dry mix to your DAW or computer.

I think this is a better recording approach in refining your final mix.[/quote]

How each one of us approaches recording is a direct part of our style. I prefer a little 'dirt' in my tracks. In my opinion, if you get the effects right while recording, it's less work on the tail end, and lighter on the CPU. Maybe I'm a little 'purist', but didn't The Beatles record most of their early records on four tracks? I enjoy the sound of an effect 'in the room' as opposed to in the 'box.' But like I said, I may be trying to achieve a different sound than you.

So I guess what I'm getting at is, I think sewa should do what 'feels' right for his style. Hell, just the idea of busting out an old mixer with a noisy FX send sounds like fun right now! Good luck picking out a new one!
