Hi!
I must admit that the 1U Motif Rack always liked me a lot because of its great power on such compact space.
Imagine a set with a TR-Rack, Motif XS Rack and Fantom Rack and you're in heaven
Let's see the street price...
It's strange it doesn't have the MIDI Thru port, and no sampler or sequencer
BTW, the XS is a great board, and it has all its features, that's a nice piece of equipment.

The ES rack has midi thru, optical out and one more stereo assignable output... maybe next motif rack won't have midi in too... _________________ http://www.synthaddicted.com |

Well, maybe the MIDI out works as MIDI Thru, too...
BTW, I would love to see the street price of that piece of equipment.

I was hoping they would go with something designed like the M3M.....lots of knobs and sliders to play with (and a bigger screen). Oh well.

when I saw the XS rack announcement, I thought, hmm replace my XS7 ?
not a chance, all the controls( and UI) on the XS keyboard make it a joy to play _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

yeah, I love XS sounds, too, it's a nice improovement of my S90ES, it has got a great sound quality, far better then the ES, but I'm still considering to buy a M3-61 with EXB-RADIAS and a stage piano to replace my Trinity rack + S90ES...of course, I would never sell the Virus B
