Hiya,
Just an interesting question i thought I'd bring up.
What do you think is better? Predictable or Unpredictable as a character. Thats what the poll is for.
I also wonder which you think people would describe you as. Very Happy
My answer as to what I want to be is (dont copy it Laughing );
I want be Predictable in the things of loving, caring, helping...etc but Unpredictable in the way i show them! Very Happy
Your turn! Smile

Most would say I am predictably unpredictable. They know they are going to get something out of me, but what that is they haven't a clue.

Musically in recordings, I hate to say this...I want to be slightly predictable. The average listener enjoys an occasional surprise, but they want to feel comfortable that they are fully aware of what they are hearing. I want to fill that for them.

Musically live I'll give them a mixed bag. Just when they think they got it figured out, I throw them with some left field tune.

Solo (predictably responding to this thread with a predictable answer)

I'm so unpredictable that I surprise myself at times.

That does not apply to my music, as I am known as the somewhat "middle of the road" kind of a 'composer' (I use that term loosly). Laughing

For the most part, I do surprise those that know me. Just when they think they figured me out, I do or say something that raises at least eyebrows! Laughing

I think, a certain amount of unpredictability is quite healthy.

Mike
