He's coming to Ireland too, and I was going to see him, but for where he's playing. I think it would only spoil the vision I have in my mind of those open air concerts he did. Just can't imaging seeing Jarre indoors and in such a small venue.

I'd rather wait and take a chance to see if he does something like a repeat of the concert in Paris ever again..... If so, I will be there.

Regards.
Sharp.

Just got my tickets for the Albert Hall. I saw him 20 years ago in the docks, and again at Wembley. (wembley was dire....)

The guys approaching 60, and seeing him performing Oxygene on the original kit isn't going to be a "rocking" event, but do you think he's got another big show in him? I don't.

Does anyone know what else he performs? THe extended Oxygene lasts maybe 50 mins... I'm hoping at £75 a seat he might manage a set of other tunes!

As far as I know he will play all the tracks from the first oxygene album and about 3-4 from the second oxygene album.

I paid €92 for a ticket - I think that's Ok.

And it's a great success - almost all concerts are sold out.

I think he will stop his musical career after his tour.

I have ordered my tickets for the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow! I think however long they play for, it will be brilliant, It'll also be worth every penny of the £50.00 per ticket. I can't wait!!!

lets face it - it's not going to rock.... Oxygene isn't that kind of piece, and a bunch of nigh on 60 year olds twiddling dials and playing one handed lines isn't going to have people bouncing. Plus, Jarre is a horrible performer. His improv skills are shocking. BUT, and it's a big but, this is the guy that, IMHO, started it, and this is the piece most people consider the first of its kind. Add that to the quality of these venues...

Watching the guy work on those early synths - can't wait.

A live performance with Jarre is an unforgettable experience.
Jarre at Aero 2002 in Denmark, it was simply great and beautiful. Wonder which city will be the best to attend for the tour Think

Ps. I even got his autograph in my hall of fame next to the Kraftwerk members Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flür!

Can you post the set list....

obviously Oxygene, + the variations he's worked in from Live In Living Room - but did he play much else?

I'll be disappointed if he plays for an hour and wanders off for a pint.

It's Oxygene only - about 90 minutes total time.
