maybe for you this is a common day of the year but not here in my city! Avoiding to tell you about the history of my city it happened that a border was built between Italia and Slovenia, a border who created conflicts between us in the past and still today there are political problems between the two States due to the bad memory of the war. Anyway, it's really time to forget all these bad things cos today we finally delete this border due to Shengen agreement! No more identity card, no more police on the border... nothing!
In the years after the war they built a new city on the other side of the border called Nova Gorica (New Gorizia) and seen from the satellite
http://maps.google.it/maps?f=q&hl=it&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=gorizia&ie=UTF8&ll=45.949717,13.638411&spn=0.037597,0.090466&t=h&z=14&om=1
it can seem to see a single city... now finally it will be really a single city without a border
that cut it in half!
So Big Party this night for us!

Great isn't it? The border checks between Poland and Germany disappeared as well...simply amazing! |

I wish you well in celebrating this milestone. I find it ironic that the open borders are happening accross Europe at a time when the "open" borders between the USA, Canada, and Mexico are in the process of becomming more stringent.........requiring passports and other documentation for transit between friendly neighbors. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=677304

Lorenzo,
The U.S. news doesn't seem interested, or just doesn't bother to show us important things like that, it's all about Britiny Spears, and now her knocked up little sister, very sad for us, but I'm happy and hopeful for you! Good luck and Happy New Year!
Regards,

The so-called news here is a extremely disgusting display of rabbit turds instead of the bigger bullshit going on. _________________ DEVICE - CLICK HERE!
