Hello everyone, I've been playing keyboard for a long time but I have recently been wanting to get into synthesis. I know very little about it, but I have been looking around and I thought the R3 seemed like a powerful machine for a good price, and I love its presets. I want to start recording trance, house, techno, electronica, and maybe some synth pop or postal service-style stuff on my computer. My only gear consists of a Casio WK-3200 and a Roland AX-7 midi controller, of which I still haven't figured out all of the features. As for software I have FL Studio. Is this synth the right way to go? Any help is appreciated.

Definitely. I don't like the factory sounds much. But hey, its an easy to understand synth with an great software editor and you can easily create better sounds Wink
