you don't sacrifice anything on either of the machines, there's an audio in thru button which lets the signal play |

Is there a way to send a signal into the audio-in of the EMX and process it thru the FX section? _________________ "Secret to Electribes: push all the buttons, turn all the knobs, record what sounds good!" |

yes paul we just established that ... you need to use a synth part and set it to audio in+comb synth type... |

...yes, and you have to make a pattern that trigger the audio IN
or put a single notye on in step 1 and edit the gate to hear the audio IN the time you want...if you want it ever opne then put a +1 step over the total steps of the pattern
example: you have a 16 step pattern (1 bar) so put the gate in 17 son you donīt hear clicks at the amp closing when the pattern loops |

Hi Guys, Ive been looking how to do this, I just want to play an external module through the EMX or ESX and use the FX. But I dont understand how exactly to put a +1 step in 17 (i.e. how do I put the gate in 17?)
Thanks!

i donīt have my ESX here but itīs something like this
1. select the external part
2. press step 1 on the grid
3. go t o step edit (button)
4. using the up and down keys go to "gate" or "lenght"...i donīt remember the exact word
5. using the data knob put a value superior to 16 |

17 (total steps) * 100 (equals 1 step) = 1700
might want to try holding down shift to speed the process along...HTH
have a good one
