|
|
Hi, i'm new to my M3 with EXB Radias.
I couldn't find anything in the Manual.
I want to start to play around with the Radias Board.
What i learned is that i have to do smoething like to tell the M3 that a User Bank is a Radias Bank, because it cannot store Radias Programs in a bank where normal M3 Programs are.
So, how to i copy a factoy Radias Program or Combi to a User Bank to start modifying it ?
Thanks in Advance and greetings from Cologne, Germany,

Im not in front of my M3 at the moment, but I am almost sure that you must select the global button and there is a page (or drop down menu item) which allows you to determine the type of bank (Radias, or normal M3). So, search in the Global pages and menus.... _________________ Simon

It's written in page 382 of the parameter guide.
Go in the Menu page of Global mode (upper right corner) and go to Set Prog User-Bank Type: here you can change the type of each user bank: EDS or Radias.
bye

Thanks for the info.
I have been wondering why the M3 is so restrictive when it comes to modifying Radias patches. I was not aware you could create new ones in other banks.

Allright, i'm home from work and the first thing i did was make the Bank U-F a Radias Bank.
1) Switch on the M3, with your Winter Jacket and Winter Boots on (have the Car Key in your Left Hand)
2) Enable Global Mode
3) Tip the "Basic" Switch in the Upper Right Corner on the Display
4) Tip on "Set Prog User Bank Type"
5) Now you can set the Type of the Banks to EDS or Radias
Thanks for your help M3-Mates!!
