|

Hi all you guys! help needed to adjust KORG MicroX in Cakewalk Sonar. I downloaded the instument patch for my Korg but it's where a mess in the DAW begins. The 1st midi channel I set up works just fine. I change presets in Sonar and it's reflected in Micro X , but then I insert 2nd MIDI channal, choose a new sound - and no changes in the synth screen made. I mean, I can't create TWO different instruments\patches at a time to make it function fully via MIDI. what do I do wrong. Help me, I'm a newbie. |

there will be no changes in the synth screen, you shouldn't expect to see this.
(remember the synth should be set to Multi if you want to use it as a sound module for your sequencer - just push the "Multi" button).
the whole point is that you choose the patch from the sequencer, NOT from the synth... so you will not see the synth registering ANY choice you make... not the 1st channel, the 2nd channel, etc etc.
Hope that helps |
