Can you mute and unmute tracks quickly when playing live,- like a groovebox. Can you record track mutes & unmutes. Ta

There's 8 buttons in the control surface, which in mixer mode function as you want

Thanks. No I havn't tried it yet. The mute thing would have ruled it out, so I might yet consider it, I could see no obvious mention of it scanning the specs etc. I have a range of grooveboxes at the moment and was thinking of changing. I had a Triton in the past but I could not hack the linear (non pattern) method of recording. Is only 8 buttons not a bit annoying/ restrictive given that there is 16 tracks? I was kind of hoping for one each. This sounds a bit half-way.
