Why no EMX software like EM-1 has ??

Althugh i mostly use just the MX , i have been searching for software similar to the EM-1 software . I had hoped that the EM-1 editor would be usable in some way with EMX but i hear dfifferently .
It is midi software however so i'd imagine it has some use , even if it is limited .
Can anyone advise me for sure on this .

Daz says the EM-1 software is not compatible, boo hiss.
