I assume I need the HD KIT?
and I'lll need a 9mm 60 80G HD for my needs
whats the process like to install I cant find it in the manual? page?
Is it worth it?

I haven't tried installing a hard drive, but having taken the PA800 apart it looks pretty straightforward.
You do need a kit and I assume all the instructions are inclued with the kit.
If you look under the small cover on the underside below the keys you will see a cable which you will need to attach and four mounting points for the HD kit, I cannot imagine it being very difficult.
Is it worth it......personally for me I don't think so becasue a USB stick is big enough, hard disks can make a small amount of acoustic noise which I personally don't like -and this one is mounted right under the keybed (although they are much quieter these day's).

Paul all valid points ...I might have to use smaller thumb drives maybe a few 2G or 4G instead of an 8G...which doesnt seem to work properly with so many files. |
