German pages shows pa2x like it's already available.
But on www.korg.com nothing, they don't even mention it.
Does anyone know more about this, is it available or not? |

Korg Germany screwed up BIG TIME.
They announced a few things before they should have.
Someone is going to get a slap on the hand for this.

Galettouille, my deepest apologies for my not-so-well-mannered of reply to your posts, you were right. And also my apologies for those I hurt when I wrote my opinion.
But, are the specs as written by Galettouille? If so, than I think the Pa2X is a Pa800 in another jacket, altough filled with more memory and a harddisk AND 76 keys. And if so, I'd rather buy myself the Pa800 instead of the Pa1X.
It's a lovely machine to see. _________________ With musical regards,

To the Korg gods of Korgdom I most humbly apoligize for not believing in you. Please forgive me for losing faith and not believing in your earthlly power. I am utterly embarrased for the things I have said and written in disbelief. Now, would you please bless me WITH ONE OF THEM BAD BOYS (PA2X). I will never, ever speak evil of thee again. Yours truly............

Do you think the PA2X will be successor of PA1X? |

look at http://www.korg.de
for me personally it´s more than a joke - it a PA800 in a PA1X Case with a few little modifications - only for new players i think - not interesting for existing PA1X(Pro) or PA800 users.
the biggest minus point from my side - why on hell has korg decided to use this bloody display for the future - there are some much better displays available

From the reports you guys have given it is not the BIG upgrade instrument I was expecting. I really did think the next top of the range Korg keyboard would be something very special. It looks like I may be disappointed. |

On the serious side. I agree with Wittid. My existing Pa1x - Pro is sufficient for me. "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".
In regards to EQ I run everything thru my Korg Digital recorder. The on board EQ is primarily for individuals who don't have other out board equipment. In regards to space and memory. Take all styles and other stuff you know with out a doubt you will never, ever use. I am a Jazz, Pop, R@B, Gospel Singer. I have no need for Turkish, Indian, Yugo, Bolivian music. I have not removed the items yet because I have no need at this point. I am just enjoying and learning all I can about my Pa1x-Pro.
I love the adjustable screen on the Pa2x (monitor). This should have been onboard a long time ago (minus -) the automation. The automation is going to be a problem after a while. On my Korg D16xd Digital Recorder I have an adjustable screen (manual) I love it. The Pa1x should have had it also.
The New Pa2x appears to be an instrument directed towards the new user. This is very nice for Newbies. I plan on purchasing a PA-800 simply because it is portable in regards to weight and it has features that the pa1x has.
If you have a PA-80, Pa-50 or any other dinasour go for it. You can't go wrong with anything Korg puts out. Whatever you do, if you want professionalism, this is the baby.
In January I will be attending the NAMM show in Southern California, U.S.A. I will have an opportunity to look further into this new sweet keyboard.
Just my 3 cents. _________________ AJ Johnson ( Gorilla )

Hi,
it seems it's time to change my beloved Pa1X.
My first impression is very good, don't understand why the Pa2X could not be of interest for a Pa1X owner. There are several improvements (not revolutions - but this is what happen also with other brands) and I count in the usual upgrades available from time to time. When I bought my Pa1X it was quite a different instrument from the current one, so I'm thinking to trust Korg also for this new model (cash permitting).
Just my 0,001%.
Regards. |

Well I'm not interested because:
a. Just bought a PA1X Pro Elite (1 month ago)
b. It doesn't seem to be enough of an improvement to me -
256 meg sampling ram (nice but not earth shattering)
Dual Mp3 Player recorder (see above)
Tiltable screen (GREAT idea - would like that, but.... meh)
If you wanna get one, go right ahead, and if I'm jumping the gun regarding the "lack" of improvements, so be it - i don't know much about the new board yet, but it'll have to have a LOT more than the above mentioned before I "upgrade". _________________ Just pretend I've written something funny, yet wise and ironic here... |

John Pacey was demonstrating an early production model of the Korg PA2 at the Pakefield Keyboard & Organ festival this week.
Not to many details were available it but uses the same sound engine as the PA800 & has 76 note key bed & look similar to the current PA1 Pro elite.
It has a fully adjustable motorised LCD screen that can be placed at any angle for viewing.
The release date is imminent selling price appox £2500. It sounded excellent, looking foward to hearing the production model |

The only thing that i miss on this KB is EXB option, WHY NO EXB slots?
This is bad, Realy god sampling ram , But shame on that whit no EXB,s that we can use from TRITON series.
I,m criying here.
If i buy one , i must copy my Samples from EXB,s and save the Editings.
But nothing is impossible. |

You know this new PA2x, has the same Aluminum body like the Trinity! I love it. Oh man, this one is going to really be a winner for sure. I wonder what the price is gonna be like. _________________ Best,
