If this is real......

It's seems to be nothing more than a new Pa1X design with an slice of Pa800 OS, and a memory customised for the Romanian market only.

In short, not a p1X replacement, but more of the same designed for a very specific market.
The mere fact that it also stays it's the last of the line also suggests this.

Regards.
Sharp.

I did not observe any disk drives (floppy/CD drive). The fundamental keyboard looks the same. I guess all of the surprises are definately internal. I like the adjustible display.

Fact is for me, the Pa1x-Pro rocks. I will have no need for extra bells and whistles. My music is simple and standard. One must consider what type of genre they will use the most.

I like what one of the members stated some while ago. If someone has a need for more space, remove many of the styles they will never, ever use.
i.e., I will never in my life ever play Romanian, Indian, Lithoanian, Bosonian or what have you. Don't get me wrong "I ain't hatin", to each his own. Literally. I thank God for my Pa1x-Pro. If I purchase another board it will be the Pa800 for transporting only. I am quite sure Korg will come out with another miracle baby unlike the Pa2x, Pa1x and its direct descendant the Pa800. That's life in the big city.

Another twist the the original thread. I was at the NAMM Show this year. Nothing was mentioned or stated about a Pax2. This might be a hoax. Laughing
No disrespect to you Sharp you are a credible individual. I am basically a sceptic by nature. ("Doubting Thomas") I have to see it and feel it.

Interesting...
I think only Paolo could confirm this for us.

I am not suggesting that the PA2X doesn't exist but the image on that website has definitely had work done on it. I would like to see a clear picture of it and some Korg confirmation.

I seem to remember the PA2X appearing some time ago.

Sorry, sounds a little disbelieving - I'll wait 'til Korg announces it, and as Sharp says, it doesn't really sound like a "new" arranger keyboard.

Cheers

Pete (just my opinion) Very Happy

Hey Sharpy,

That's a mistranslation by the software you used.

The French reads "(environ 1000 sons en ROM)" which means "around 1000 sounds in ROM". No Romanians involved Wink

Daz got it, i was like what the hell...ROMANIAN synth? When they didnt
dedicate one to Turkey or Middle East i dont think Romania will be seeing
any KORG dedicated to them soon.

I noticed also there's no CD or floppy drive in the front but maybe on the side!!!!!!!
I think there's something wrong with this picture.. and I don't believe Korg could make a PA2X from a PA800!! something wrong for sure.

DAZ,u have right about "ROM".
NEDIM,do not forget that ROLAND released the EXR-e2 model dedicated to EASTERN EUROPE with some voices and styles (some of them designed in Romania).Well,it is not a profesional arranger....but .."algo es algo"(something it is something Razz).
