Would anyone have any idea why the sound outputs would be distorted even though the rest of the unit is working fine? Any ideas or help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Glad to have found you all here, what a good resource.

Do you mean that you play a sound and that sound drowns in noise?

Basically the only way to get any sound at all is to crank it to 10 and then you can hear faintly the instrument selected drowned in a blanket of noise. Wondering what failure the unit may be going through.

Hi Forumers

Found this post - and as no-one had found an answer I thought I would resurrect it.......

I want to use my old M1 for a gig (the Double Reed patch is almost perfect to cover half The Hamburg Song by Keane), but the board has suddenly developed this fault - all sounds are distorted whether through the jack outputs or the headphones output.

I have replaced the battery, and re-loaded and reset the sounds using BankEdit twice...but to no avail.

Does anyone out there have any ideas????
