Tyros 3
Tyros 3XL
Tyros 3XXL

EDIT ***Based on a request and as a show of respect, all Images have been removed by Sharp***

Well it was obvious that Yamaha would build on perfection and the new Motif range builds on the success of the super articulation voices seen in the Tyros 2. The New Yamaha Motif XS uses Expanded Articulation Voices which add a further dimension to reality. It is only a matter of time before Yamaha use this new voicing system in their next arranger keyboard. It also appears that they have listened to requests to have a faster network connection. The Motif XS features complete Digital Connectivity (USB .20, Ethernet, Firewire, and SPDIF). The MOTIF XS8 features built in Firewire connectivity based on mLAN. There is very fast loading and saving via USB2.0 and even faster load and save via Ethernet. Hopefully Yamaha will take these fantastic features and Tyros 3 or a completely new arranger keyboard could be born.

There is NO Tyros 3.
This is purely speculation based on the issues use Tyros 2 users have been complaining about.

I honestly can’t see anything happening for at least another year.

Regards.
Sharp.

And not only that Yamaha, should expand and improve the Tyros 2 before they even consider a replacement. I for one would not like to see a replacement until they make the t2 all that it should be. I mean why would you increase the ram option in the t2, if Yammy aren't going to have updates. Most users will be happy to pay for decent updates, but i think the next release without any improvement on the t2 will be a disaster, because we just cant keep buying the next model all the time, one of the reasons why i bought an Oasis was because of the korg support etc

Tyros 3?

Hah,

It's very unlikely until at least 2008, and even then I would like to see a brand new grand piano sample come out for it as the one at the moment is rubbishhh!!!!!

Yes I hate it.

Please yamaha get a grip and do the same as korg or you will loose customers.

Maybe Tyros 2 will trickle down into a new PSRXXXX model soon, just as Tyros begat the wonderful PSR3000 ...

- perhaps the same full QVGA (or is it HVGA?) display, some uber-articulation voices, built-in kickass speakers even hotter than the PSR3000's, V1-3 and C1-3 added to the drawbar organ section, VGA out, expanded internet resources - and of course the piano waves from the CP300 would be okay too -

I have no doubts that there will be a Tyros 3. But, that link is not an announcement. It's nothing more than someone's opinion based on what they think will filter down from the Motif series.

It will happen, but there has been no announcement.

Regards.
Sharp.

Tyros 3
Tyros 3XL
Tyros 3XXL

EDIT ***Based on a request and as a show of respect, all Images have been removed by Sharp***

Tyros 3
- 12.1 inch screen ( motorized )

- USB 2.0

- Slyders under the screen, not buttons
like on T2

- New Chip SuperArticulation 2

- Mp3 player

- will look more like the Tyros 1

That's all I got from a reliable source!

p.s. forget the 76 or 88 key version.

Erm . . . have a gander at pics. 1 and 3. Both pics of left side of keyboard, but with different shaped ends. Photoshop, anyone?

Also, if pic. 2 is of an "XL" model, wouldn't you think it would be designated as such on the logo? Bah, humbug!

yamaha can't even come up with proper name for Tyros!
"Digital Workstation" is the stupidest name I ever seen on auto-accompaniment keyboards.
