I have a problem with xp.
Installation goes smoothly but when I try to open the program, Some error notification appears and the program will not open.
It is something concerning the .dll

What should I do?

Well, I updated to service pack 3 and now it works fine!

Hi there - some what off topic, but I am trying to contact Kevin Goodman.
I read on the trinity user group that some people may still have his contact details after all these years (but that was 5 years ago).

Is he on here, or does anyone know of him?

Does anyone know if something like this exists for the Triton? This program made working with the Trinity so easy. I've upgraded to a triton Studio and have no librarian whatsoever that offers half the functionality of Trinitro

I tried this last night on my Trinity Plus with a non-responsive floppy drive. I had it hooked up correctly as I could play a midi file thru the Trinity, but every time I tried to send a file over I got an error: "No response from Trinity" or something like that. Any thoughts???? JP

Enable sysex on the Trinity and make sure that you're using a quality MIDI interface that can handle long sysex messages without faults. To check this you can do a loopback (with a normal MIDI cable connected to the MIDI 'in' and 'out' on your interface, or plugging the 'in' of your interface into the 'thru' port of the Trinity if it is an interface with cables) and using this program (probably some reading will be needed to interpret the results and do the test correctly - but it is the only good testing program I know of).

Things to do when communications with Trinity does not work, from the Trinitro help file:
Quote:
In the Globals P2 page check that:

the program/combi banks are not protected
Enable Exclusive is checked
the midi channel specified in the Trinitro Options is the same as is set in the Trinity Globals page
Also:

Check you midi cables
This message can also occur if you have an older PC and attempt to perform a lot of background processing on your PC while doing a large receive. An example that will cause this problem on older machines is: start transfering the entire PCG and then start and use microsoft word.
Ensure the Trinity is turned on (sorry, Smile but I had to ask)

I know it is a long time ago you posted this but take a look at PCG Tools. See for more information the link in my signature below.

PCG Tools is a great program, but of little use with the Trinity Rack since the latter can only load and save sysex files and does not work with PCG files.

This is where Trinitro is still very useful because you can load a Trinity PCG file and send it to the Trinity Rack.

Anyone who has a Trinity should keep an old machine with a dual boot W98/XP system. That way, no problem running older programs like Trinitro when you need them. Personally, I have kept an older tablet computer that runs W98/XP. That way, it can be stored away easily or put back in service when I need it without taking too much storage space. It is also very portable so can be taken next to where it is needed.

In that case maybe it is worthwhile to add loading/saving of sysex file also applicable ... I will defeneately think about this feature.
