Hi All.
I’ll keep this post short and sweet for the moment because I’m still playing catch up a few things here, and I’m suffering awful from a cold. I have lots to tell you, so… catch you all later on that.
So for the moment let me just say a BIG THANK YOU to Jerry and John for inviting me over. WOW….!!!! I’m still on a high here. What an experience, and what a show. You guys are really great.
And finally for the moment…..
I just wanted to share a bunch of images with you all. These sort of hit a little on everything I saw at the show, just to give you a taste of what it’s like there.
http://www.korgforums.com/misc/music-messe-2006/index.htm
Hope you like the images and if you have any questions, just shout. There’s a story behind everyone.
Regards.

Thanks for the pictures. I noticed THESE NEW Products (see below). Do you know where I can buy them? They would be a very nice addition to my studio!!!

Yeah, it’s safe to say that the entire place noticed them too. That said, they where spinning some pretty kick ass music there. Very good, and really enjoyable.
Some of the other DJ’s there where really great too. One guy especially… This guy
At one point he had such a crowd around him nobody could pass.

That’s John Pacey from KORG UK playing the Pa1X Pro. A very talented musician too. The guy is just gifted.

Thanks for sharing.
I see you were treated to a Michele special on the Oasys, that must have been good. Who is the guy on the O in the last batch of piccies.
There are some great pictures in that lot. |

Hi keys.

Yep, there was only one there and it was spinning around on a moving table. Looked kind of funky in a strange way. Not sure it would be my cup of tea, but I could see that it would have lots of appeal to people.

Well if they did, you hardly think I would be allowed to tell anyone.

Hi Francois.

Yeah.. what a guy. Had dinner with him the second night there. The guy is on another level altogether as far as creativity goes and ability. He’s extremely polite, and talented.
Fastest fingers on the keys I’ve ever seen anyway. Played some killer orchestral stuff from the boot and on stage. Always blew people away too.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to talk to him. So for what little I do know, I think he's from KORG Germany. They used to switch people around in the boots to cover both English and German speaking visitors. So… that’s all I know.
Sorry.
Regards.

the only purpose of the question, was that there are rumours that korg were going to op sys 3.00 with the PA's...but nothing has been issued and as musik messe is open to the public, perhaps there may have been some sort of indication there, ergo, its in the public domain and ergo you could pass that information on.... but hey, if you are sworn to secrecy and its all "cloak and dagger" stuff, far be it for me to attempt to elicit such foresworn information from anyone...
cheers

I wasn’t suggesting that I was. I was actually stating the obvious because you asked straight out about future developments both hardware or software related. Not about an OS 3.0 rumour.
So if it’s only about OS 3.0 your interested in. Well then there is no secret. Tramannoni very clearly said the following on the forums right here…..
And I quote….
Quote: | I cannot say you if there will be another major OS release or not. For sure, we are working on a way to port features developed for the Pa1X's successor to the Pa1X. |
Hope that answers your question then.
Regards.

thankyou sharp, (it was more of a "tongue in cheek" comment, but thanks for the reply).... i wasnt around the forums at that time so i was unaware of his statement..so they have a planned successor to the PA, (since they are trying to find ways of porting things back to the PA) well that at least is interesting to know. |

I was OUR pleasure... as I mentioned at the show, I wanted to do it last year, but then I didn't go, so NO WAY I was going to arrange it and then not be there to meet you face to face for the first time.
So Happy Birthday and get over that cold soon.
