The 'how old are you' poll seemed to bring some nostalgia out in some ofus. Especially the 'middle aged ones like me Shocked

I put 'OTHER' in but ran out of lines Rolling Eyes
Hope you don't mind this new poll.

You can put the actual synth model in a thread. Up to you.

Cheers.

my first was a MicroMoog (still have it) that I found at a garage sale for $25. This was 1995-ish - back hardly anyone still gave a crap about analog synths.

I didn't know anything about synths then and didn't even have a concept of what monophonic was. After that came a Yamaha PSR-320 that I used for piano class. A little later came a Korg N5.

I doubt anyone among us owned a Fairlight as their first synth. Laughing

My first synth was a Sequential Circuits Six Trak.

No but I played the Fairlight briefly. Cost about the same as my first house I'd just bought. They are still making them. Still outrageously expensive.

Before that I had a Roland SH3A for 8 years then sold that to travel along with the Korg Poly6.
