Considering buying Electribe 2 Sampler as first big groovebox. I think it still is good value for what you get.

Anyway, trying to figure out any shortcomings this device has, based on experience with some other gear.

Here are some effects I would like to know if they are possible to achieve on E2S:

1. note slides - like on 303
2. arps - like around 1:06 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94DViygBaP0&t=67s
3. ratcheting

Other than that, you guys think it's still a good option ? Biggest shortcomings you encountered ?

For a moment I was thinking about Dirtywave M8 and I know it's uber powerful but what this guy is asking + taxes and duties to import to uk would be ~£750. This and the fact it's one-man show so you have a support now but it may disappear in a months time means that I will pass it.
