|
|
Hi Guys
My Pa1000 speaker grill got some stain and I am not sure what caused it.
It seems like it is something oily or greasy and I tried using cleaning wipes and a soft brush , but could not get rid of the stain and it really bothers me.
I am posting a link with a picture and you can see the stain.
Anyone can suggest a solution to this issue or had a similar problem?
Thanks !

I bought a Korg PA1000 second hand (I assume it was around 2-3 years old), and it has this exact same stain on the right side of the left speaker grill.
Even I wonder what could have caused this.
It seems like some kind of chemical change, because no amount of cleaning does anything to it. |

Those marks are from the oil in your hand resting on the speaker grill when you play to turn the volume up and down.
When my pa1000 was new , they were not there then they started to show up and I noticed that's where I rest my hand to turn the volume or the balance. _________________ The Gold Standard OS 2.2

You're right, the stain there is a discoloration of the paint from holding your hand there _________________ Pro Musician, pianist, arranger. In the music business since 1983

I found myself resting my hand there waiting for a song to start so I can adjust the volume so it's not too loud or too soft again that's only my opinion but it sounds pretty good. _________________ The Gold Standard OS 2.2
