My studio/setup is a little unique. In addition to my PA4x I have/use an Arturia KeyLab 61 MK2, a Kurzweil K2700, a Studio logic MP-117 Pedal board and a Novation Launchpad X for hardware.
For software I'm forced to use Ableton Live 11 Suite as it seems to be the only DAW which still supports MIDI CLOCK SYNC. I have far too many Plugins to list but I use several "Smart Plugins" as I call them in Ableton Live that take input from the PA4x to further improve the PA4x sounds. Plugins that have chord recognition I use/route to channel 4 on a given Ableton Track.
My goal is to use one or more of my MIDI Controllers to make changes via MIDI on the PA4x. Everything I do is live and, as an example, I want to use the Launchpad X to change a style element (1-4) or select a different track in Ableton. The 1100+ page user manual doesn't describe which MIDI Connections (USB or 5 pin DIN) send and/or receive simultaneous MIDI Commands, PC and/or CC.
The Launchpad X is completely programmable but I do not know if the USB & DIN can manage simultaneous MIDI Data. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can tell me if the simultaneous use of USB (Any of the three (3) and the 5 pin DIN can be used simultaneously.
Thanks to all,
