Unfortunately this information does not help. I am currently using the Mac driver but I do not have access to the bank and in fact I cannot change instruments from the software. |

That info told that for new MacOS you don't need any driver to communicate between the Pa4X and the Mac over MIDI. Because the built-in driver in the Mac do what is needed. ( it required a downloaded driver from Korg before).
So, I think you expect something from a driver, which it does not provide.
I think what you want is something like a library, which can be plugged into Cubase and contain all the Instrument patches.
You can make your own, which is a big typing job.
There used to be a downloadable Template for library for the Pa3X which could be used as a starting point. These are downloadable from Korg USA.
(PC/MAC:Software:Pa3X_Nuendo_Cubase.zip)
However, I use the Pa4X itself as library for searching what I need. I sit by my Pa4X when using my DAW, I think that is just as or more convenient. The Pa4X is organized very well into categories of instruments. The Template is not organized, other than by bank and instrument number. You can set up the Pa4X so that it displayes the bank and instrument number. Then you just copy that into the track header in your DAW, if you want the track to select/activate a particular instrument.
You may alternatively set up your DAW to not send patch change messages and handle all patch changes manually from the Pa4X. That may be convenient if you don't change patch in the middle of a tune.
You may also find it convenient store settings of Pa4X instruments for all tracks by embedding a special program change/bank select command which selects that Song Book entyy (see the manual).
