After six weeks I got my Nautilus back from Korg. All they did was update the subsystem and OS, which I could have done myself. ..The subsequent functional test was said to be okay. After I tested the Nautilus myself, the old error reappeared briefly... Apparently Korg didn't bother to find the real cause. This is a no-go... |

Mine was at a local repair station for a month. They could not recreate the fault, even though it was so bad as to be completely unplayable just before I took it in. Sound cut out once since I got it back. Reboot and it has been fine since. I don't trust it. _________________ Buzz |

Is this a problem with every Korg Nautilus or just some? |

Well both I guess. I had the occasional drop out when I had the original software, but with the new software upgrade and changing my signal map on my hardware setup; all drop offs have disappeared. Either way I am happy for its demise. It was a bit frustrating to say the least. To be honest, my best guess is that having cleaner and more precise voltage may be the real answer. Who knows for sure. But the voltage conditioner has not hurt. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494
