Hello All

As you all know the NAUTILUS does not have after touch which is crazy!

However I was told that the unit may have the after touch feature how ever its the keybed that does not support it?

So if we switch the keybed with one that does have aftertouch would that do the trick?

Just trying to get some clarification on the issue

Thanks

The Nautilus responds to aftertouch, including polyphonic aftertouch, so an external keyboard might be the way to go. Just simply trying to shoehorn an aftertouch-capable keybed into the Nautilus won't work, because the aftertouch sensing circuitry isn't there, plus the keybed matrix decoding may well be different.

Thanks for the reply

However when you say "the nautilus responds to aftertouch" but it does not according to Korg?
The only way to achieve that would be via midi controller according to what you're saying?

Also if I use a kebed that supports after touch im guessing on the NAUTILUS motherboard there would need to be a connection for that cable. Once again according to what you're saying it's simply not there.

This keyboard to me is like a world class body builder that's in tip top shape yet they gave it a disability by not providing after touch on a performance keyboard in 2023 sounds crazy.

With Kronos gone, Korg should update the Nautilus with a version 2, which should include aftertouch and nine sliders to use for the drawbar organ model.
