Hi All
I've finally given up trying to clean/fix/make look better the sticky rubber around the tilt screen on my PA3X. Nothing seems to work, and it looks awful, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to purchase a replacement tilt screen....if they are available.
Many thanks.

Try a light coat of Vaseline. It cleaned mine up pretty good. Think you did what I did, used alcohol on the rubber. Makes it sticky and soft.

After a couple days it will look like new. Anyway, mine did…

Hi

Please note i have posted in here on this issue as there were no solutions at the time.

I then used Surgical Alcohol (Sanitizer 85%) and with a bit of rubbing, it all came off (outside panel of the screen and the joystick panel). This was a few years ago and still remains clean and free of the sticky stuff to date.

Thanks

I noticed mine was sticky and marked up. I used a lite coat of Vaseline. Looks like new. Appears to be a rubber substance, think use no chemical that will dry it out? But use at your own risk…
I was even considering a silicone grease. Something that won’t dry out the rubber. I believe if you lightly coat it and wipe off excess, the rubber may be restored? And get rid of the sticky surface….the rubber may soak up the grease and become restored…

Thanks for all the suggestions Guys. Am working my way through them and hopefully something will work. The area around the joystick is also now really sticky as well.......sigh....
