|
|
Hello
Complete newbie to Korg and keyboard. Getting the feel of playing this keyboard and Trying to read through 1500 pages of user manual🤣
I cannot seem to find an answer on this in forum so asking
Is there a way to lower the volume of the styles when playing in player (1or 2) and increasing the right hand melody I want to play with it.
No amount of mixing or slider adjusting seems to do it for me. In any style.
It must be something obvious but for the life of me I cannot get the left hand volume down and the RH volume higher.
Any solutions that I am not finding in the manual

there are sliders for this
- press the main button
- be sure that the view button is set to the sliders
- now slider 7, 8 and 9 are the volume sliders for player 1, 2 and upper keyboard
you can also set a default in your pa5x for this, so that you don't have to do this anytime.
A good starting point is the value of 100 for the styles. To create a default for this, do the following
- press the settings button
- press the menu button
- select the preferences tile
- at the bottom you see the three defaults for style volume, i've used the value 100 for all three of them, this makes the default style settings for me much more playable with the keyboard sets. |

Thanks for this it has worked.
I think I read in the manual about a catch in the sliders.
I set buttons as your directions and pushed all three sliders to the top and then I could control players 1 & 2 styles down to zero sound.
My journey with the Pa5X continues.
I watch your videos on YouTube - well done well presented. |

That is because your controller setting is set to catch in your pa5x, which means that they don't do anything unless you hit the current value.
Here is how to change it.
- press the settings button
- press the menu button
- press the controllers tile on your screen
- in the hand tab you see a section called slider and pedal
- select Jump in that section
now the faders will react immediately. |

Great, well explained, got that changed.
Thanks
I am looking forward to knowing this machine, such a lot more in it than my digital piano. I think it will be great fun to play. |
