I wanted to sample my VSTi and import into Nautilus. Created the SF2, loaded in Nautilus and it didn't work. I created in on PC and saved it as "Cloud Runner.sf2". I cleared all RAM in Nautilus (by "auto preload" empty). I copied it to a flash drive, then loaded it in Nautilus. I selected an empty program to import into, and what I got is 2 x empty programs with names "Cloud Runner *0" and "Cloud Runner *1" that don't play and have "samples not loaded" warning above them. If I go to sample memory I can see that my samples were loaded into RAM, but somehow are not used in the Program. If I do "load required samples" nothing changes. When I open my .sf2 file on PC in a SoundFont editor (Viena or Polyphone, which I used to create the soundfont) it looks and sounds fine. There is only a single instrument there, which should load into a single program.

* Why were there 2 programs created?
* Why are they empty? What am I doing wrong?
* Is there anything wrong with my .sf2 file? How can I modify it to load correctly?

Hi Roman, I sent an e-mail.
The issue is coming from SF2 conversion. SF2 meta data make a program with "New sample stereo" as a sources. In your program have New sample stereo on OSC but you don't heave any stereo Multisamples after conversion, so must change the OSC Stereo multisample to Mono multisample. Nautilus/Kronos split the stereo samples to mono L and mono R. You could make a stereo Multisample if map the sample manually.

Thanks for your help! Your info gave me an idea and nudged me in the right direction - the SF2 file structure. I have now solved the issue and can produce SF2 files that are read perfectly by Nautilus, with no manual changes necessary. I will create a new topic now, I'm sure other people can use the advice. I couldn't find any guide about how to do that properly, and it's not self-evident. My original file was perfectly fine, but was a disaster when read by Nautilus. But a couple of simple changes during sampling and file generation solve that.
