Hi
Please tell me if this is possible...

If I added an external monitor to the PA5X, is it possible to create a Songbook entry which would call up a style and a PDF that will be shown on the monitor displaying the sheet music ?

and if possible, can I assign "Page Turner" abilities to a button ?

Not sure if you really do mean it has to be a monitor - unless you want the display to be really BIG.

With Songbook+ app you can do exactly what you are suggesting: when you select a PDF song from your Songbook+ setlist(s), this triggers the selection of the corresponding Korg Songbook entry (which can be a style, or a song with auto loaded midi file or MP3).

You can also have page turns - and much more such as timed page turns and repeats, and Action Buttons that could be used to trigger variation changes, breaks, sound volume changes, and more.

I use an iPad 12.9” as my monitor for Pa4X, it communicates with Korg via Bluetooth and Yamaha Bluetooth midi adaptor.

Yes, I am an avid user of Songbook+........ But also require a larger monitor than a 12.9 ipad (I have Smile

).

I was hoping to have the same functionality as the "Songbook+" by using the Korg Songbook with a larger monitor

So I guess I am asking

This is something that I always wanted on the PA 4 would make life a lot easier
one of the main reasons I buy this keyboard is because it has mostly everything built in,, Drum machine and a sequencer and a harmonizer and that was great they came out with new ideas. Back in the year 1990 .If you live back in 1990 you are in good shape...

Korg is just recycling the same old stuff and changing colors or just putting lipstick on a pig.

Korg needs to step up their act add some new innovation to this keyboard there songbook to work like songbook+ app... everybody reads PDF files.

i guess i know the answer,
we are going to add modify MIDI files soon Like on the PA 4x ..
and we are going to add read PDF on the pa6x , so just wait

if this website goes down they will not hear any of us to complain again

That would be awesome if we have the ability to view PDF's !!!!!..... For some of us older guys, a larger monitor would be better than a 12.9 ipad

If korg thought we needed to read PDF files they would have gave it to us, korg will tell you what you need ,not what you want..
