Can ARPS from the Yamaha Motif XS work in Nautilus?
If so, how do I transfer into the Nautilus?

I do not know, but It would be surprising if they could be transferred. You are talking about two different manufacturers with different operating systems. If you have both keyboards, using midi to interface the two instruments could possibly work. Cool

the easiest way to do something like this would be to use MIDI. midi the arp info out of the Motif, INTO the Nautilus and record the info in the nautilus sequencer... but that would pretty much be all you'd be able to do.

Once in the Nautilus though, you could probably edit it just as you would any MIDI info that was recorded directly on the keyboard.

Yes, I have Motif XS, just received my Nautilus.
Will try recording Motif MIDI arp into Nautilus Sequencer and editing as suggested.
Hope Motif Arps/Scenes will play correctly into Nautilus 4 Scenes?

I am a Newbie.

I can select and play Nautilus programs from the Motif via MIDI.
But I cannot record Motif ARPS or midi into the Nautilus Sequencer. Midi Clock is sync to external in Nautilus.
Am I missing something?

The Motif can be set to output MIDI generated by the arpeggiator, so it should be possible to capture this in the Nautilus and create an Arp in the Nautilus. Arpeggiator output needs to be enabled in the Motif, for this to work.
