Got the 256 card installed...and the piano is the only set selected, with the Auto box marked (it shows a red square)

However it still does NOT load at boot. Every time I have to manually load it at startup...

System version is 2.0.5

If you have an earlier M3 the have a smaller ssd incapable of storing all the expanded data, so as well as a 256 card you also need a USB drive holding the expanded programs to be pluged in for the Auto-Load to work.
If you have the later M3 that has "Expanded" on the front panel as well as the screen it will have a larger ssd that can hold all the programs in lieu of the USB.
I could probablly explain this better but it's late.

It is the Expanded and it has the RAM EXB card installed as well. USB stick is connected.

It IS supposed to autoload but it does not.

Try putting the EX-USB PCMs on the M3's internal SD card instead. You can access the SD card via your computer by booting the M3 while holding down the LOCATE and 0 buttons together. It will show up as another drive or removable media on your computer. You'll need to have a USB cable connected to your computer, of course.

When I did this, I had no trouble putting all four PCMs on my internal SD card, but I seem to recall that very early M3s had smaller SD cards installed. If you can't get them all to fit on the card, it's possible to upgrade to a larger size.
